July 17, 2023FBR EXEMPTS DUTY AND TAXES ON IMPORTS FOR FLOOD RELIEF
ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of revenue (FBR) on Wednesday exempted obligation and taxes on import of consignments for flood alleviation sports.
The exemptions from customs obligation, excise duty and taxes had been granted for subsequent three month.
In this regard the FBR issued SRO 070, 071 and 073 of 2023 to furnish the exemptions.
The FBR stated that the exemption has been granted for a length of three months from December 01, 2022 on the donation consignment and remedy items goods as licensed with the aid of the country wide catastrophe management Authority (NDMA) or a Provincial disaster control Authority (PDMA) for remedy operation for flood effects.
